HERITAGE MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR UNESCO-LISTED CITY OF HUE

6-month capacity building trajectory to the Hue Monuments Conservation Centre to co-create  planning tools, instruments and GIS system for the heritage management plan for the UNESCO listed Forbidden Purple City (Tử cấm thành).  

Result: 

• Heritage management plan for the historic centre of Hue, a requirement for Hue to stay on the UNESCO world heritage list
• Toolkit for urban managers and planners in Hue to explain the fundamentals of urban heritage management. Background and case-study research, editorial, translation and production
• A GIS system to support the heritage management plan for the historic centre of Hue.
